How we create content

Each tool is built around a specific user problem. We explain the inputs, units, calculation method, assumptions and limitations instead of publishing an unexplained number.

Standards and references

Where a calculation depends on a standard, specification or project convention, users should verify the currently applicable edition and project requirements. Generic tools cannot automatically know the requirements of every project.

Corrections

Updates

Calculators and explanations may be revised when formulas, assumptions, user feedback or applicable requirements change.
